What James Cameron is offering this time? (since the sequel took 13 years)
A tribe of Metkayina will explore the uncharted regions of Pandora and leave a mark on the planet’s aquatic life in Avatar: The Way of Water. They reside amid the ocean’s reefs and form the second movie’s primary group.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Cameron said of the sequel(s): “It will be a natural extension of all the themes, and the characters, and the spiritual undercurrents. If you loved the first movie, you’re gonna love these movies, and if you hated it, you’re probably gonna hate these. If you loved it at the time, and you said later you hated it, you’re probably gonna love these.”

Cameron chose to be as authentic as possible rather than filming ocean shots “dry for wet.” As a result, all of the actors received training in professional scuba diving. Additionally, Cameron invented a new technology to film motion capture scenes underwater, which had never been done before.
“I said, ‘It’s not going to work. It’s not going to look real,’” Cameron said. “I even let them run a test, where we captured dry for wet, and then we captured in water, a crude level of our in-water capture. And it wasn’t even close.”
Revealing his expectations the Director shared that the screening will feel like “Dreaming with Your Eyes Wide Open”
