Chairman Association of Private Sector Universities Pakistan (APSUP) Prof. Dr Ch Abdul Rehman has announced award of 500 scholarships for Palestinian students.
He made the announcement in a letter to Prof Dr Iqbal Chaudhary Coordinator General COMSTECH of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC),
The letter mentioned that private sector is playing a pivotal role in higher education in Pakistan.
Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) is an elected representative body of 85 private sector universities with 31 regional campuses across Pakistan. Currently, it has enrolled more than 40 percent of all students in higher education sector in Pakistan.
Chairman APSUP appreciated COMSTECH for launching the scholarship program in collaboration with APSUP and other public sector universities to extend concrete support to the Palestinian youth who have limited access to the higher education.
