UCP alumnus Salman Ali makes debut at Galle Test against SL

The University of Central Punjab (UCP) Alumni Relations Office celebrated the succuss of the UCP Alumnus Agha Salman Ali, an all-rounder, who has debuted in Pakistan national Cricket test team against Sri Lanka at Galle today. Agha is an UCP Alumnus and former captain of UCP Cricket Team.

He represented Lahore Qalanders in the PSL and played in different cricket leagues across the world.Alumni Relations Office wished best of luck to Agha Salman Ali.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Salman was added to the 18-player squad for this series following an impressive run in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy first-class tournament in the last three years.

In 18 matches, since 2019-20 season, the right-hander has scored 1,629 runs at a strong average of 56.19. The 28-year-old has smashed five centuries and eight half-centuries.

His off-spin snared 25 wickets.A large number of UCP alumnus congratulated Salman on his one of the most defining succueses in his professional life.
