Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Engineer Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar has been elected Vice-Chairman Punjab of Pakistan Engineering COuncil (PEC) on Monday.
Dr. Niaz Ahmad was the candidate from the panel of the National Engineering Alliance (NEA). Dr. Niaz bagged 5771 votes from total 64 polling stations. As per reports, the results of 60 polling stations have been received and finalized. There were four opponent candidates against Dr. Niaz.
