Imran Khan eyes to conquer Sindh via Hyderabad Jalsa on 20th

Hyderabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has announced to hold a massive public meeting in Hyderabad on August 20th. PTI chief and former prime minister Imran Khan will address the gathering.

PTI Hyderabad divisional president Haji Khanwand Bux Jahejo announced this while addressing a news conference at the press club.

Bux Jahejo was accompanied by a retired justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Noorul Haq Qureshi and others. He said they had applied to the district administration for permission to hold a public meeting, however, if the district administration did not grant permission, the party would hold a public meeting come what may as this was their constitutional right. He added Hyderabad’s public meeting was part of a series of his public gatherings.

Noorul Haq Qureshi said their leader Khan has said on many occasions that he was working to make Pakistan the model of Riyasat e Madinah. To make this possible PTI government implemented parts of his reforms during his tenure as a Prime Minister like the chapter ‘Seerat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’ in textbooks for children, he also set up an authority with the name of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), serving free food initiative, Ehsas program, Kamyab Jawan, etc.

PTI leaders said they were thankful to Imran Khan for including Hyderabad in his schedule of programs. They added that the people of Hyderabad were happy with his schedule and were waiting anxiously for his arrival so they could see their leader among themselves. They said seeing Imran Khan among them and addressing a public meeting here people of Hyderabad would feel happiness for real freedom.

PTI Sindh’s leadership hoped that the Hyderabad district administration would avoid putting hurdles in a public meeting of their leader. In case of permission was not given or the government tried to put hurdles then the people of Hyderabad would not tolerate such negative tactics and would, anyhow reach the place of the public meeting.

PTI Sindh Chapters led by former governor Imran Ismael, PTI Karachi-based leadership Haleem Adil Sheikh, and others, and now the party also focuses on Sindh to grow its presence.

In an important development on Wednesday, Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh was arrested by a team of the anti-corruption establishment (ACE) on land grabbing charges after his bail plea was rejected by the Court.

Haleem Adil Sheikh appeared before the anti-encroachment court for an extension on his bail. The court after hearing arguments from both sides canceled his bail. Soon after the cancellation of bail, contingents of police reached outside the court and arrested Haleem Adil outside the court premises.

Meanwhile, a large number of PTI workers started to reach outside the court to extend support to the party stalwart.

A case under land grabbing charges was registered against the Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil in Anti Encroachment police station Zone 2.
