Balkaur Singh, the father of Punjab singer Sidhu Moosewala, got a portrait of his son inked on his arm. Sidhu Moose Wala was killed by sharpshooters in an alleged gang war in Punjab.
On July 4, Balkaur Singh made his first public appearance since his son was murdered and marked his presence at the inauguration ceremony of a road in Mansa district’s Burj Dalwa village.
“Eight attempts were made to kill Sidhu Moose Wala during the Punjab poll earlier this year. However, he survived because he had security cover with him. The new government downgraded his cover along with several others. The news was leaked in the media and within a day he was killed,” he had said at the event.
Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29.
