RIYADH: The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, affirmed the importance of the Gulf-Pakistani relations, and vowed to strengthen and develop areas of cooperation between the two sides to serve common interests.
This came during his meeting between the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom retired Lieutenant-General Bilal Akbar with the Dr Nayef Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf at GCC Headquarters in Riyadh.
The Secretary-General reviewed with the ambassador the relations and said GCC countries have good relations with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in various fields.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed ways to enhance and develop cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Pakistan to serve common interests, and reviewed the latest current political developments in the region.
