Turkish lawmaker Ali Sahin is known for his open love for Pakistan and he expresses his endless love in his tweets. Ali Sahin is a popular Turkish legislator among Pakistani Twitter users.
He was in Pakistan to attend the 2nd Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of The Economic Cooperation Organization (PAECO) Countries in Islamabad.
Ali Sahin said, “It was a great honor for me to play an interpreter role in Urdu on the request of the Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Asad Qaiser during his meeting with the Speaker of the Turkish Assembly Mr. Mustafa Sentop to interpret in Urdu b/w my 2 precious countries made me honored.”
He even apologized to fellow Pakistanis for not attending and accepting their invitations. Ali Sahin said, “Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule and heavy program in Islamabad I could not accept the invitations of my Pakistani brothers and sisters from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar. In my next and less formal visit, I promise to meet you all Inshallah. Love you a lot.”
