A declamation contest was organised in Punjab University’s department of Film and broadcasting to celebrate Allama Iqbal day.
Prominent Scholar and educationist Prof. Zahid Munir Amir was invited as chief guest. Jury members were Umar Daraz Gondal and Yasir Waseem.
Chairperson of film and broadcasting department, Prof. Dr. Lubna Zaheer welcomed the guests and appreciated the students who had gathered to celebrate Iqbal day.
Students diligently participated in the declamation contest and spoke on the given topics. In the end, chief guest Prof. Zahid Munir Amir addressed the students and paid tribute to great poet Dr. Allama Iqbal.
He enlightened the students with Iqbal’s thoughts.In this event, winners of the contests were given certificates. This prestigious ceremony came to an end with Pakistan’s National anthem.
