PU film dept, NAB arrange short film competition for students

Punjab University Department of film and broadcasting arranged a short film competition in collaboration with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). A large number of students took part in this competition and received high appreciation from the jury as well as the audience.

Additional Director of NAB Atiya Azmat, Additional Director Asif Raza, and NAB officers Irum Shahid and Munaza attended the screening and prize distribution ceremony held in the Film department.

Chairperson, department of film and broadcasting Prof. Dr. Lubna Zaheer welcomed the NAB team to the department. She said that it is not only the duty of NAB to strive hard to eradicate corruption in Pakistan but also every citizen should play a role to mitigate and eradicate corruption in Pakistan.

She said that our department is always there to promote NAB’s efforts for a corruption-free Pakistan.
Additional director of NAB Ms. Atiya Azmat Congratulated all the position holders of the competition.

The NAB official explained the efforts of the NAB to mitigate corruption. She said that there is always corruption which begins at the individual level; we should try to avoid that.

Other faculty members of the department including Dr. Waqar Malik, Dr. Sobia Abid, and Dr. Rashid Khan were also present.
In this screening and prize Distribution session, the top three films were screened and Shields, certificates, and gifts were granted to organizing team members and winners.
In the end, the chairperson of the department of film and broadcasting Dr. Lubna Zaheer thanked the honorable guests and admired team leader Dr. Sobia Abid and all the students who took part in this event.
