Mohammad Arif criticises ECP for ‘selective scrutiny’ against PTI

BY ASIM SHAZAD

Chairman of Kern County Peace and Freedom Party in California Mohammad Arif said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seemed like a ‘selection commission’ to penalize PTI Chairman Imran khan and his party.

He gave scathing remarks on ECP for its selective justice and scrutiny. He urged the election body to probe the parties of PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and PMLN supremo Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

ECP Chief Election Commissioner Sultan Sikandar Raja said ECP probed all three major political parties of Pakistan but he has been only asking from PTI about the prohibited foreign funding.

He questioned why ECP CEC exempted PPP and PML (N).

Mehmood said that Overseas Pakistanis and Pakistani People demand an answer to this injustice practice. “Why do we have a Democratic Martial law on PTI and why do we target the most honest politician in Pakistan,” he questioned from ECP.
