A sessions court extended the interim pre-arrest bail of two suspects Shehroze Saeed and Akhtar Ali in the Minar-i-Pakistan Tiktoker Ayesha assault case and dismissed of two others Ilyas Saleem and Usman Aziz for non prosecution.
Accused Shehroze Saeed and Akhtar Ali appeared before the court which extended their pre-arrest bail till September 23. The court dismissed the bail petitions of Ilyas Saleem and Usman Aziz as neither they nor their counsel made an appearance.
During the hearing of the TikToker Ayesha case on Tuesday, some citizens and lawyers gave a good thrashing to perpetrator Akhtar Ali as they claimed that he was also involved in mobile snatching incidents.
The CIA police had arrested the suspects from Sheikhupura and Jaranwala. It is alleged that the accused along with other accomplices had come to Lahore on the eve of Independence Day when they harassed TikToker Ayesha.
Lorry Adda police had registered an FIR against 400 unidentified persons for assaulting, molesting, and stripping the clothes of Tiktoker Ayesha Akram.
Sections 354-A (assault or use of criminal force against woman and stripping her of her clothes), 382 (theft after preparation made for causing death, hurt, or restraint in order to commit the theft), 147 (rioting), and 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Pakistan Penal Code have been included in the FIR.
