Saudi Tourism Authority arranges Pakistani Night in Jeddah

JEDDAH: Under the auspices of the Saudi National Event Centre, the Saudi Tourism Authority and the General Entertainment Authority, an excellent event was held in Jeddah on “Pakistani Night”. On the occasion, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry in a video message mentioned the love and long-lasting strong ties between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.

About 5,000 Pakistanis, including children and women, attended the Pakistan Night from Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Taif. Local artists performed the national anthem and National songs on which hundreds of Pakistanis danced and enthusiastically waving the Pakistani flag. Various stalls were set up at Pakistan Night to show puppet shows, food and Pakistani culture.

Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Khalid Majid said that we are grateful to Saudi Tourism, National Event Center, General Entertainment Authority and Noushin Wasim for organizing the Pakistani Night and especially to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. This event reflects the ties of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He further added that the Pakistani community, media and other forums have played an important role in making this event a success, thanks to which such a successful event was not possible without Pakistani Community.

At the event, Saudi Entertainment Authority spokesman Syed Noshin Ahmed also thanked the media and the Pakistani community for making the event a success.

Waving the Pakistani national flag in a colorful ceremony, the community expressed solidarity with Pakistan.
