Nawaz Sharif smells ‘fascism’ behind attacks on Pakistani journalists

Pakistan Muslim League supremo and former prime minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif stressed to stop fascism before it threatens the very existence of Pakistan.

In a latest tweet, the PMLN supremo, who lives in London for his medical treatment, gave examples of latest attack on journalist and senior anchor person Hamid Mir and previous attacks on journalists like assassination of Saleem Shehzad, the assassination attempt on Absar Alam, the kidnapping of Matiullah Jan and Gul Bukhari or beating of Ahmad Noorani, Asad Toor, Umar Cheema, Bilal Farooqi and Aizaz Syed.

The country’s spy agency has completely disassociated itself from the attack on journalist Asad Ali Toor. The attack drew widespread condemnation, and it has been alleged that Hamid Mir who spoke in favour of the Ali Asad, has now been sent on few days leave and his popular show Capital Talk will now be hosted by another anchor.
