Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) President Masood Khan announced that AJK is ready to send a consignment of medicines, vents, oxygen, sanitisers, masks and PPEs to help Kashmiris fight against coronavirus.
AJK President said that the consignment could be delivered by AJK Red Crescent.
“I appeal to World Health Organization (WHO) to persuade #India to allow and ensure delivery of the consignment,” Masood Khan said.
The pro-peace and humanitarian aid announcement came just after a day when Indian Border Forces (BSF) breached the Working Bounding (WB) at Sialkot violating the ceasefire agreement. The agreement was reiterated by both Pakistan and India militaries Director General Military Operations (DGMOs) in Feb this year.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has offered medical supplies to aid India on humanitarian grounds to help the devastating COVID-19 crisis.
