‘Art for Solidarity’, a venture by The Artists’ Assembly of Progressive Students’ Collective arranged online streamed dialogue of Pakistani and Indian artists and urged both countries to move towards peace.
The Artists’ Assembly of Progressive Students’ Collective maintained that art play a fundamental role in the advancement of revolution.
The online venture aimed to show solidarity with the people of India in the time of coronavirus crisis. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and common people of Pakistan had already extended their compassion and help in the worst-hit COVID-19 pandemic wave that has making new records of daily deaths and new corona cases.
Speakers addressing the programme said they want to connect people with art and share joys and sorrows in this COVID-19 crisis.
