LAHORE: Lahore Division Commissioner Muhammad Usman announced that vaccination centres would remain open on 1st May (Saturday) for public facilitation amid the national vaccine rollout has paced up.
The vaccination centres would remain closed only on May 13, 14 and 15 due to Eid holidays.
As announced by the NCOC head Asad Umar, vaccination for 40-year-old and above is going to start from May 3.
Separately, MacDonald’s has donated 0.1 million masks to Lahore Division Commissioner retired captain Muhammad Usman on Thursday.
The Lahore Division Commissioner appreciated the food company for their donations.
He stressed for washable masks instead of disposable masks.
Muhammad Usman said restaurants are allowed for take-away food services but warned also that administration would seal the restaurants if they would resume dine-in serving to customers.
The Lahore Division Commissioner also carried out a flag march along with the police and Pakistan Army troops. He said people’s cooperation could make the government’s efforts successful in stopping the spread of deadly coronavirus.
